Youth Minister

Jeffrey Dale is the Youth Ministries Coordinator for Grace United Church and Living Waters Presbytery. Jeffrey has worked in youth ministry previously at: Three Willows United Church (Guelph), St. John’s United Church (Stratford) and St. Mark’s United Church (Toronto).  Before coming to Grace United Jeffrey worked with Hensall United Church as the Supply Minister.

Jeffrey is an award winning author, and was the Artistic Director of the Millbank Summer Festival Theatre and the Southwesto House. Jeffrey’s plays include: Millbank’s Mystic, The Elma Swamp Murder, The Boy Known as Dr. Barnardo’s, and Cyclone: The Legend of Fred ‘Cyclone’ Taylor. Jeffrey has worked in theatres across the country, including: the Tarragon Theatre, the National Arts Centre, Theatre 311, Ottawa and Toronto Fringe Festivals, Club SAW, and with the Shakespeare Experiment at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. In 2017, Jeffrey won the Canada 150 John MacRae medal for poetry.

Jeffrey holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Algonquin College), a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (University of Guelph), and is currently pursuing a certificate in Children’s Mental Health from Georgian College. Jeffrey lives in Barrie with his dog, a mutt named Max.
